Part 3. How to recover deleted phone numbers from Android phone using Gmail

If you ever backed up contacts from Android to Google Account, you can of cause recover the lost phone numbers. But you should make sure that "Back up and sync" is on before you get the phone numbers lost.

Step 1 Sign into your Gmail and then go to your inbox at first.

Step 2On the left panel, please click More option.

Step 3Choose Undo changes option.

Step 4Choose a period or customize the period, and then click Confirm.

Step 5Go to your phone and restore contacts from Gmail.

Notes: Google only lets you revert your contacts list back to any state in the past 30 days. If you never sync contacts to Google Contacts, the method does not work.

If you own a Samsung phone and make a phone backup to Samsung account, you can of course recover the deleted phone numbers through this way.

Step 1From your Android phone, go to Apps > Settings on your Samsung screen.

Step 2Scroll down and find out Backup and reset option.

Step 3Tap on Restore under the Samsung account menu.

Step 4Now you can see contents like messages, phone logs and more that you have sync your phone to the account. Choose the data you want to restore and tap on the RESTORE NOW button on the bottom to get back the lost phone numbers on Android.

Notes: This method only works for Samsung users.
