How to restart iPhone?

How to Restart iPhone
This is the basic method of shutting down an iPhone, but many of us hardly do it. You'd better restart iPhone from time to time to let the device have a rest. All you need to do is press and hold the Power (Sleep/Wake) button. For iPhone SE, 6s/6s Plus and similar models, the Power button is on the top edge. While for iPhone 7/7 Plus and other larger models, the button is on the right side edge.

Step 2Release the sleep/wake button.
Step 3Use your finger and move the slide to power off from the left to the right. Your iPhone screen will turn black and then it will show down completely.

The method to restart iPhone X, iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus is quite same as the way of iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus. Their Sleep/Wake button is on the right side of the iPhone edge, so you just hold and press the button until the slide appears. Then release the button and move the slide from the left to right. When the phone is totally turned off, you can press the Sleep/Wake button again to restart iPhone.
Notes: For iOS 11 or later, you can navigate to Settings > General > scroll down the screen and find option Shut Down. Tap on it, and you will shut iPhone down. Move the slide to power off from left to right. Then you can restart iPhone by pressing the Sleep/Wake button.
You are able to restart iPhone without pressing the Sleep/Wake button. Use the AssistiveTouch feature, you are able to not use the finger to perform the iPhone reboot. This is a new feature for iOS 11, and you can restart iPhone without the power button.
