Click your YouTube account on the top-right corner, and then click "Creator Studio" > "Video Manager" > "Videos". Part 2. Upload a file of subtitle/closed caption on YouTube

If you have a file of subtitle or closed caption, you are able to directly upload to the YouTube video. The file should contains both the text and time code for the spoken words. You need to upload the file that is supported by YouTube.

Go to Video Manager and choose "Add new subtitles or CC". Choose the language for the subtitles or closed captions

Select "Upload a file" and choose the type of file you have to upload.

Select "file" > "Upload".
