Generally speaking, MPEG files have better video quality. And even it is at high compression rate, it keeps the high image quality. That's why MPEG files are easy to share and transfer. But to keep them for long, burning them to DVD disc is a good choice. Here we will talk about how to create DVD with MPEG video. Please refer to the following guide step by step.

First you need to download and install Aiseesoft DVD Creator on your computer. If you are using Mac computer, please download Aiseesoft DVD Creator for Mac.

What else you need include a blank DVD disc (it's ok if you don't have one for now) and the MPEG video file. If the video is not on your computer, you need to connect the camcorder or the external storage card to the computer.

1. Insert the disc to the DVD drive. If you don't have one, skip this step.

Insert Blank DVD to PC

2. After launching the program, click the button Add File. In the popped up window, choose the MPEG video you want to burn and Open to load it.

Load MPEG file

3. To burn to DVD disc, choose the DVD type and click the image button on the right bottom to start burning. To convert to DVD folder or ISO image file, click the destination option and choose the file type you need. Then select the file folder where you want to save the converted file. At last, click the burn button to start converting.

After burning, the DVD disc can be played on any DVD player. While the DVD folder and ISO image file should be burned to a blank DVD disc and you can enjoy it on DVD player.

Wait for some time and you can playback the MPG video on DVD player or save the converted file on local disc so that you can burn it to DVD disc later.
