The limitations of the iCloud Photo Stream

There are limitations when you use the iCloud Photo Stream feature to transfer iCloud photos to Android. You may not get all iPhone photos from iCloud to Android because of its limitations. There are some major limitations to the iCloud Photo Stream feature.

1. Up to 1000 photos

The iCloud Photo Stream only saves the last 1000 photos for backup. In other word, when you have 1200 or 1500 photos from the Camera Roll folder, iCloud Photo Stream will back up the latest 1000 photos. Moreover, when you break the 1000-photo limit and take another photo, the first photo stored in your iCloud photo stream will be deleted.

2. Up to 30 days

The photos that stored in Photo Stream shall be deleted after 30 days. That would be easily result in the data loss.

3. 5 GB free storage

iCloud only offers users with 5GB free storage space. iCloud enables you to not only store and backup photos but other data. So the space for photos will soon run out.

4. Does not sync videos

The iCloud Photo Stream cannot sync the videos your iPhone records.
